A New Landmark for Australian Basketball

When the National Basketball League relocated its headquarters to Cremorne, it wanted to create more than a new workplace. It wanted a landmark that celebrated Australian basketball and connected the building to Melbourne’s identity as the nation’s sporting capital.

Juddy Roller was engaged by the NBL and LK Property Group to curate and deliver a monumental mural honouring two of the game’s most influential figures: Andrew Gaze and Lauren Jackson.

Working across artist curation, creative development, wall preparation, access, safety and installation, Juddy Roller transformed the prominent building facade into a permanent celebration of Australian basketball.

“Juddy Roller’s deep understanding of large-scale public art, combined with their ability to navigate complex production processes, makes them the definitive choice for developers and architects seeking to integrate world-class art into their projects.”

The mural does more than promote the organisation. It creates a visible connection between the NBL, its greatest athletes, its supporters and the city it calls home.
